A better deal for Kurumbai shepherds
Innovative feed manufacturer, G.V. Sudarshan, offers a four-part support service to nomadic shepherds in Tamil Nadu. A pellet-based feed supplement boosts conception rates in ewes and weight gain in lambs. This is combined with veterinary care, livestock insurance and a buy-back guarantee, enabling the shepherds to increase their flock numbers without risk.
